In Fürstenberg you can find one of the oldest porcelain manufactures in Europe which has made the name "Fürstenberg" famous. Today the museum is in the castle, the former hunting seat. Here you can see the "white gold".

You have an unforgettable view from the castle courtyard as well as from the restaurants.

Hiking trails lead to Solling directly from the village. If you travel by bicycle, you can reach Fürstenberg on the Weser Cycle Route. In the castle itself you can see cultural events of different kind.
